Alina is a fully Chartered Architect, Urban Planner, and Conservation Accredited Practitioner. She holds the highest UK conservation accreditation from the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) and serves as the the Deputy Chair of the Northern Ireland Branch of the of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation. She is a Member and Trustee Candidate of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB). Her active roles in these organisations demonstrate her commitment to the field.

Alina's an active Northern Ireland Ambassador for London based Architects Benevolent Society, former Board Member of Directors at PLACE NI (Built Environment Centre) in Belfast, and part-time lecturer at Queen's University Belfast, School of Planning, Architecture and Civil Engineering.  Alina regularly contributes to local and international publications. Alina's deep commitment to collaborations solidified many successful relationships with high- level professional, academic and business figures across the UK, Republic of Ireland and internationally.
