Transformation and refurbishment of a 3,000 sq ,1970s coastal residence set within the Mourne Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on approximately 0.7 acres, enjoying panoramic views across the Mourne Mountains and Carlingford Lough.

The design reconfigures the existing living spaces to maximise natural light, improve spatial flow, and strengthen visual connections to the surrounding landscape. A contemporary architectural language is introduced, carefully balanced to respect the character of its coastal and rural setting.

The project includes the modernisation of internal layouts, significant upgrades to building performance, and the creation of a more seamless indoor–outdoor living experience. A complementary landscape strategy enhances privacy while framing long-distance views and reinforcing the home’s relationship with its natural environment.
