The project is rooted in a heritage-led approach to renovation, guided by a philosophy of minimal intervention to safeguard the building’s historic fabric while allowing it to continue to function as a valued part of Jocelyn Street’s streetscape.
We supported the client through the Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS) application process, ensuring the conservation-led objectives, and long-term stewardship of the property were clearly articulated. This collaborative approach resulted in a successful funding award, enabling vital conservation works to proceed in a manner that aligns with best practice in architectural conservation and heritage management.
