Horners Lane, Rostervor

The proposed works situated in Horner’s Lane, within the grounds of the B Listed 'The Willows' and its granny flat. A dwelling constructed in 1872-73 by William James Watson and features High Victorian Gothic styling, in line with other properties in the Horner’s Lane area.The dwelling is positioned in the most exposed part of the site, facing Horner’s Lane. The ground slopes consistently across the site, from Horner’s Lane to the southwest boundary, along Kilbroney River. The north side of the boundary facing Horner’s Lane is bordered by mature trees, shrubs, and dry stone walls. The lower garden to the east is not visible from Horner’s Lane. Since the site is located within a Conservation Area, the trees are protected.
